CommentDue to a need to transfer to a new hosting company, there will be outages from several hours to several days in the next week, as we move files over. Sorry in advance for the issues, and if the site goes dark, it'll be up again as soon as we can get it re-launched.

CommentStarting next weekend, Sunday the 9th of November, the Polar Bear ride will meet in the #1 Lot at the North end of Rockland Lake. Be advised that this is the only lot that will be open through the winter. This is the Lot where the main park office is located.

CommentTeddy Bass (Foster's son) is a Boy Scout, and they're raising money with a popcorn drive. (The Girl Scouts get the cookies, Boy Scouts get popcorn snacks.) I usually buy a bunch, but I'm going to buy a lot this year because the company's sending tins of popcorn snacks to our troops if you buy the Support Our Troops tin. You pay for the tin, a soldier get it. Awesome idea. Doesn't matter your political leanings, the troops deserve a snack and some love. Go to orderpopcorn.com AND USE ORDER KEY TEKGN36 so Teddy gets the credit.

CommentHello, my name is Greg Chertok, and I am the Sports Marketing Coordinator for The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center in Bardonia, NY. After speaking with David Schloss, I would like to give you some information about our facility's Speakers Bureau. Through this service, one of our physicians or physical therapists will come to your facility, at no cost to you, and provide a lecture on a rehabilitation-related topic that interests you! The purpose is to educate people on new rehabilitation treatment options as well as athletic performance enhancement, injury prevention, and other health and fitness-related issues. David has requested that I post on the forum for members to provide input on which particular topics may be of interest. Feel free to request any topic!

Read 2 CommentsAssuming that it is not raining, I was planning on heading up to Ringwood tomorrow morning by around 8:30/9ish to do some mountain biking. Novice level stuff. Sticking mostly to the fire road with the occaisonal short foray onto some easy single track.

CommentToday it was John R. and PATH making the rounds of the lake. We got a couple of miles in but the tempatures were hardly polar. THe leaves were pretty thick and it was in places slippery.

Read 2 CommentsIt was chilly this morning at Rockland Lake. Paul L. and I started off into a 10 to 12 mile an hour wind with an ambient tempature of 42F. I love those winds off the lake that sit you up in the saddle and make riding so interesting.

Read 2 CommentsTonight we were Amy, Rick, Mark, Robert, and PATH! We started off at a very peasant pace. There was little if any wind and it was quite nice out! We could have done without the mosquitoes thank you!

Read 1 CommentToday was the perfectly PERFECT day for cycling...it began with crisp weather that warmed up beautifuly as the day went on. As Jay, Isabell, Jay, Sam, Ernie and I rode to the bridge on 9W we were CAUGHT by Phil who chased us all the way from TOGA! It was so nice to ride with him that we actually extended the ride! We rode over the GWB and then to 110th st. via Riverside Drive and back to Piermont. The weather was too nice to pass up and just "go home" We ended up with about 42ish miles which were fantastic! Great group. Great ride. Great day! Thanks everyone! Happy weekend!
